![]() Most cycle clubs organise an annual hill climb race on a local hill, they tend to be open events so anyone brave or crazy enough can enter. This year I have been training hard for the hill climb season and I thought I'd do a bit of a diary as the season rolls out. I was lucky enough to be able to compete in a few races in between COVID restrictions.ħth September 2019. Including SRC Quantocks, Porlock Hill Climb, Widecombe, Haytor, Tor 2000, Stoke Hill - Exeter, Burrington Coombe and Chew Valley Hill Climb.Ģ020. A good season, racing most weekends through September and October. Happy with 2022, really enjoyed the racing, the atmosphere and the inclusivity of the querky and niche sport of hill climbing.Ģ021. Mostly top 10's and top 3 in age category. The years are against me for improving my performance but still getting PB's on quite a few climbs and placing well. I have competed in local hill climb races for a number of years.Ģ 022. ![]()
